EASTHAMPTON - From Barbies turned into tarot cards to dangerous fire spinning, something for everyone will be found at tomorrow's Art Walk Easthampton.

The art walk, held the second Saturday of each month from 5 to 8 p.m., will include visual and performance art at 18 locations, including the Pirate's Den, a restaurant at 58 Cottage St. that will feature the Amherst-based group FADE, which performs acrobatics, juggling and fire spinning, said Michael J. Crawford, a photographer who organizes the walks with his partner, Thomas A. Hanus.

"It's really very festival-like. It's mostly a walking event because the venues are so close together. You park, you walk, you peek your head into things that amuse you," Crawford said.

One exhibitor is Greg Dursza of Hadley, a retail manager by trade. He took a tarot card reading class at Awen Tree, a shop at 102 Cottage St., and made a final project using Barbie dolls to create an advertisement for one card.

Dursza, who said he doesn't consider himself an artist, said he's made six such creations based on tarot cards, an ancient set of cards used for fortune-telling and from which modern playing cards are derived.

His showing will include a reception with live music and tasting of mead, a fermented alcoholic beverage made from honey, malt and yeast that has been traced to antiquity.

Luthier's Co-op, at 108 Cottage St., will feature a musical performance by the Airborne Wallets, a trio of Southampton residents. The group includes brother and sister Jen and Will Freise and their friend and teacher Seth Burt.

A new venue joining in the event is the Blue Guitar Gallery, at 186 Northampton St., which will present "Far-Dot," a show of paintings and prints by father and daughter R.A. Anderson and Astrid Anderson.
