Call for Artists, Musicians and Performers
Art Walk Easthampton invites proposals from visual, music and performance artists who want to participate in an upcoming event. You do not need to be a resident of Easthampton to apply. There are no entry fees or participation fees. Both established and emerging talents are welcome. There are opportunities for indoor exhibitions and shows as well as for sidewalk/outdoor performances. All opportunities are non-paid.
All proposals for visual, music or performance art are made available to Art Walk Easthampton venues for their independent consideration. Art Walk Easthampton does not make booking or curating decisions.
Our online form allows you to submit a proposal online by answering a series of questions about your work. It takes 10-15 minutes to complete. To submit a proposal:
- You must first be a subscriber to the free monthly e-newsletter that will update you about the Art Walk. So if you haven't already subscribed, do so now by entering your email address in the green block to the right. Then check your email and click the enclosed link to activate your subscription. You have to activate your subscription before the system will accept your proposal. Also, use an email address you regularly check so an interested venue can reach you quickly.
- You should be able to briefly and accurately describe your artwork or performance. If you have images online, you can enhance your description by embedding links to those images in your proposal.
- Some venues will want to set up an Exhibition Agreement or Performance/Music Agreement with you prior to booking. You may review examples of these customizable forms here: Exhibition Agreement, Performance/Music Agreement Any resulting agreements are between the venue and the artist/performer.
