About Art Walk EasthamptonArt Walk Easthampton is a grass-roots, volunteer-organized effort to highlight the region's creative talent in a monthly event at locations across the city. Visitors can expect a wide range of visual, music and performance art within easy walking and driving distances. All events are free. The Art Walk occurs each "Second Saturday" of the month from 5-8 pm. Locations include traditional galleries, live music and theater spaces, retail shops, pubs, artist studios and pubs. Many venues also host a public reception in addition to providing a space for visual or performance art that changes with each Art Walk. The large, yellow Art Walk Easthampton banner is displayed on the exterior of participating locations so you can easily identify them. You also can print your own map in advance with is list of that month's venues and artist list. The Art Walk has grown rapidly, from its roots on Cottage Street to a city-wide event that now includes Union Street venues, Old Town Hall, Eastworks and on Northampton Road. Parking is free and readily available at all locations (map and directions here). Great restaurants and bars are all along the way, too.
